Well, I’ve decided to sell out and join Myspace so I shall be moving my blog there. I am now located at http://www.myspace.com/taylor_ignition. So long!

This is the greatest invention ever.

I’ve been shopping around for a new car seat because Aislinn will soon outgrow her’s and I came upon, believe it or not, a car seat that converts into a stroller! It’s so awesome! I figured, it’ll be perfect for when we travel to St. Catharines. However, something like this typically retails for around $200 USD. I posted an ad on craigslist to see if anyone had it for a decent price and I got a reply yesterday from a woman in Chelsea (near Gatineau) who was selling one for $75. Awesome! So I may have one for this weekend. Here is a photo of it (sorry, I couldn’t get a good photo of it as a stroller):

Mike and I saw The Reaping tonight. It was pretty good.

Happy Easter!

7 04 2007

Mike’s dad is up for Easter, we’re doing dinner at my mom’s tomorrow. Chocolate! Hurrah! Jesus who? If you’ve happened upon Aislinn’s site lately, you’ll have notice some changes. I’ve finally gotten around to making it all pretty. Enjoy – that’s YOUR Easter gift.

Work it baby.

I’ve started doing aquafitness classes at the Ottawa Athletic Club. I received a temporary membership to the club from Kiss FM as part of their weight loss challenge. It’s quite fun, but it was all old ladies there in the morning. I’m going in the evening tomorrow, so hopefully there will be more people that are 2 classes away from death. Plus, I saw way more than I ever wanted to in the fitting room. I’m going to have nightmares for weeks.

Back to St. Catharines, non-pregnant edition.

28 03 2007

Mike, Aislinn and I will be heading down to St. Catharines on May 7 to 12, so be prepared for lots of showing off! Now…must…go back…to Facebook…

Coming up for air.

25 03 2007

I finally joined that Facebook website. Holy crap, like everyone I’ve ever known is on there! It’s crazy! Mike hasn’t been able to get me off. Tony was right, it is addictive. Luckily I did find time to go shopping today. We went to the Gloucester Centre and got Aislinn a spring jacket and some hats and sunglasses that make her look like a nerd. She’ll be stylin’ for spring. Mike’s dad’s coming down this weekend probably. That’ll be nice, we haven’t seen him since Christmas.

This is awful…awfully hilarious! (haha…ha…)

I had this running through my mind at work for some reason. It’s so stupidly funny:

Also, I’ve put more photos on Aislinn’s site, so enjoy!

Here’s to hoping I won’t be a Bridezilla!

6 03 2007

Wow, I didn’t realize how long it’d been since my last post. I’ve been incredibly busy. I’ve started planning the wedding, July 15, 2008 is the date so mark it on your calenders. I have a location for the ceremony/reception/guests to stay (yes all in one) that I want. It’s called the Monterey Inn and I’m working on getting ameeting to book it. I think I’ve found my wedding dress, so I’m making good headway. There’s so much stuff to do though! I never realized how complicated weddings are. I’m going to sign up Aislinn and I in a Musical Babies class for April, which should be fun. I want music to be as important to her as it is to me. Plus it’s apprently good for babies.

P.S. to MOH Natalie: I’ll start posting wedding stuff on my old blog at http://taylor-ignition.livejournal.com until I make my wedding website (which probably won’t be for many months.
Though anyone can visit it if they want to see what’s going on, it is specifically for Natalie.

So exciting it’ll knock your socks off!

11 02 2007

Sorry, I’ve been busy/lazy as of late. I’ve started working. I work every weekend starting at 6am (brutal! I agree Natalie, we should never get up before the sun) making salads. Also a few evenings a week. I’ve also joined a kickboxing class which is brutal and hurts because I’m so horribly out of shape, but I’ll get better. Aislinn’s been gaining so much weight, almost a pound a week, and feeding so much that the doctor told us to start giving her cereal. I didn’t even know you could give babies this young cereal. She enjoys it though. She’s also recently discovered her thumb! Very exciting, my life.

Oh yes, also this is quite amusing. I saw it on This Hour Has 22 Minutes:
